Buffering is not one problem
Buffering can come from the network, device, player, ISP route or source. Changing many settings at once makes the real cause harder to identify.
Start with comparison tests
Test another channel, another category and another player, then compare Wi-Fi with Ethernet or a stronger signal.
Stability matters more than a headline speed
A fast speed test does not rule out packet loss, interference or congestion. Streaming needs a steady flow of data.
Decoder and player settings
Some players let you change hardware/software decoding or player engine. Change one setting at a time.
VPN and DNS
A VPN can improve or reduce performance depending on routing. DNS changes are targeted tests, not universal buffering fixes.
